I remember standing at Alfatah for hours, looking confused. Then came the day , when i was introduced to the magical world of Revlon Color stay foundation.When I first purchased this foundation back in I dunno 2006?? I got it in Normal / dry skin formula and Shade MEDIUM BEIGE. But now I am more tanned (NC35) and shade which suits me more is natural tan in Revlon ColorStay Foundation. Now let me share one thing I noticed when I was picking up this foundation at walmart. The shades are different in each formula e.g : the golden beige was tad lighter in Revlon ColorStay Foundation Combination/Oily compared to Revlon ColorStay Foundation normal/dry. So if you are buying this foundation online , do your homework and google as many swatches as you can to get your perfect match. My mom is NC30 and she wear Revlon ColorStay Foundation Combination Oily skin in golden beige.

Mac superb is a gorgeous warm peachy champagne color with hint of bronze. It could be quite metallic, so i will recommend using a duo fibre brush for applying. But couple of month ago, I finally bought the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse in shade pure beige .I LOVE it. It works beautifully with me combination skin. It is creamy liquid which blends effortlessly with fingers or any foundation flat top kabuki. I love the result of it when I applied it the original beauty blender. It is semi matte and gives medium to full coverage which I love in my foundations. End result is a beautiful natural looking face

I got sucked in the hype again and also I wanted a new highlighter on my only brother’s wedding functions. I ordered when Balm Mary-Lou Manizer during their sale. I got it in March, just few days before the weddings.I was hoping when i first apply it , there will be angels singing "hallelujah" in the background.

Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow.

When I first got this I was hoping that it would be like love at the first application BUT honestly I wasn't that blown away. I felt it was bit frosty, hard to blend and just sat there. There was a time when in hurry I over applied it and I had to re do all my makeup because I didn’t have time to give it few more chances since I was crazy busy in wedding and I was travelling back and forth I took out my beloved MAC superb and Benefit Wattsup and I shoved it in my makeup drawer and didn't use it for months and months.

Since then I've tried it few more times with different brushes/fingers and still i feel nothing.I tried using it light handed and it can be used on cheeks, eyes, lips. The testure is butter soft itself ,(handle with care) and a little really does go a long way ,so you just need a little dab and start blending.If you are heavy handed and dont blend well, it will look obvious and It has tendency to accentuate pores.You get a whooping 8.5g of product, It will last a long time .

I will admit that the shade is simply gorgeous and it will ccomplement almost any skin tones and the gold/champagne looks beautiful on our desi skin tones. It has fine shimmer, not obvious glitter.Since the powder is very soft , its easy to blend. The highlighter didnt work for me or maybe i had high hopes but i have read so many positive/rave reviews about it so i am sure it certainly is something special. I love the testure , the shade and the packaging but maybe i have used highlighter which are way better than this so i wasn't completely blown away.

It’s almost winters here and time to take out the big guns i you want to keep your lips soft and smooth . My lips tend to get dry and lip balms are the only thing i need. Although i love buying lip balms , i hardly ever use them beside winters. This is the only lipbalm which i will even use it during summer . EOS medicated lip balm Tangerine for chapped lips: I got sucked in the hype and got the three flavors but i am not impressed with these as much as i was hoping for. Dont take me wrong ,I still like it since, it is moisturizing but the smell /taste is bit overpowering for me and it feels really heavy on the lips. These are the cutest lipbalm packaging and i remember it was such a rage when they were released and eos lip balms were all over the youtube. Orange one that is medicated lip balm, The LE passionfruit one and hhoneysucklehoneydew.* Rating 3.5/5

Long-lasting formula moisturizes and soothes lips. It has soft mint scent and the formual is excellent. It last quite long . It heals chapped and moisturizes dry lips so well. It doesnt feel heavy on the lips.My lips feels soft and hydrated. *Rating 4.5/5

I use these Revlon chubby lip balm/stains more than lipsticks and I am such a fan of the minty scent/taste but I personally find the minty scent quite pleasant but those who don't like scented/flavored lip products might not like it .It is quite pigmented & applies like a creamy lipstick .It also glide on smoothly & feel comfortable on lips.

CoverGirl Lip Perfection in Sultry : It is an opaque, medium-dark, pink nude with a slightly glossy sheen. I love this lipstick, beautiful shade, perfect formula and love the packaging. This is a great MLLB shade for desi skintones .

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick-Kate Moss #105: It is mid tone neutral brown, which is a MLLB shade on me. This shade will look faltering on most of skin tones. I love the gorgeous everyday shade of #105.I am in absolutely in love this shade but how i wish the formula was bit better. I don’t like how grainy lipstick bullet looks or feels on lips on application.I have sometimes dry lips and when in hurry don’t have time to prep them, this is perfect as its creamy ,forgiving matte formula has no shimmer and looks comfortable on my medium tan skin tone.

Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick-Samarcande : It is a midtone brown with hint of pink .I love this lipstick ,Its very smooth, creamy and glossy. The feel of it on lips is very lightweight and hydrating.As i mentioned that the formula is extremely Creamy, they last relatively long unlike Yves Saint Laurent ROUGE VOLUPTÉ Silky Sensual Radiant Lipsticks, and Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick does not feather on me.

Nyx round lipstick in B52 :is mauvish brown pink . Who isn't familiar with nyx cosmetics round lipsticks ? Nyx round lipsticks are really very creamy and have this moisturizing formula which applies and feels so smooth on lips. Nyx round lipstick in B52 is a beautiful neutral shade which is flattering for different skin tones. B52 applies smoothy and finish has a nice sheen to it. Like most of nyx round lipsticks the wear is average, since texture is smooth and has slip to it , i needed to reapply after the meal.I love this shade and it has become my everyday shade.

Essence is one the brands which i always make sure to check when i am in lLahore I love the products ,their price tag and their nail polishes are one the best. Usually these lipsticks are all gone at essence ,alfatah but Since i am lipstick hoarder , and when i saw few of shades (like 2) available, I had to have one.I bought Essence Long Lasting Lipstick -04 called On the Catwalk.

Essence Long Lasting Lipstick - long lasting love… you simply have to fall in love with the long lasting lipsticks by essence. the lipsticks provide your lips with intensive color for several hours without drying them out. you’re sure to find whatever you’re looking for – from bright pink to intensive red and chilled-out berry to subtle nude shades. the essence logo on the texture and the matt, black packaging with a ring of color to match the actual color of the lipstick are true eye-catchers!

Essence Long Lasting Lipstick -04 called Onthe Catwalk is a sheer neutral berry shade. It looks much darker in the tube but if you have pigmented lips like mine, it will appear almost MLLB but with bang of some color.
I have reviewed on the best selling shade from this range 01-Coral calling few weeks ago. So i won't go into much detail since the formula/Packaging is almost same.

The lipstick comes in a matte black pancaking with a border of same shade as the lipstick around it. The bullet of lipsticks looks very fancy with engraved "e" on it.

The formula of the lipstick is creamy and applies easily . But the pigmentation is on the sheer side, but still buildable and almost takes 2-3 swipes for me to work. It is perfect for those days when you don't want to wear something heavier on the lips .I feel this shade will suit medium complexions more. It applies glossy and have a balmy feel to it to but lips feel very soft and moisturized. It is also slightly scented and leaves a slight stain behind.The lipstick claims to be long wearing which honestly i didn't find true and formula is not definitely matte. For some reason this lipsticks makes my lips look more fuller and plumper. If you have thin lips, then it might be plus for you :)

I am a sucker for blushes,on a gloomy day , give a blush and a mirror , i am a happy chick. Imagine my excitement when i got to play with the Stageline cosmetics velvet blush palette and two of the blush brushes. Okay so i am been totally wowed by this brand. So far i have been impressed with whatever i had tried from this brand.The product range,the professional packaging and availability . This brand leans on bit pricier side but since it targeted towards professional makeup artists, I feel this is an amazing choice overall.

Stageline Cosmetics Velvet Blush Palette - Long lasting blusher with treated pigments for strong colour and even finish. Naturally corrects skin imperfections. Non-dehydrating.

The packaging is sturdy metallic , exactly like the lip palette by stageline. The palette contains seven blush shades to suit anyone. You can always mix and match them according to your moods.The shades are mix of matte, Satin, and shimmer finishes

CR is a neutral Pink (Matte)
CK is a brownish copper ( Shimmer)
CN is a berry with brown undertone ( Shimmer)
CS is a neutral brown(Matte)
CF is a Peach with pink undertone (Satin)
CC is cool toned baby pink (Matte)
CM is a bright orange (Satin)

The shades are great for everyday use as well as contouring/Bronzing ,like the shade CS is perfect matte brown for desi skintones and if you are fair use it light handed. The pink blush i am ,my favourites are CR,CN and CC. The CN reminded me of a Nars blush i own, SIN . The base is some but sin is more berry compared to CN,which leans more brown. The blushes are decently pigmented. Some tend to be powdery but over excellent wear time ,6-8 hours on me. And it can last more , if i use Stageline makeup fixer spray. One more thing to adore this palette is that you can take out the individual pans and replace with a velvet blush refill.

Over all I love all the blushes. They are pigmented. I really enjoy using them.

The Brushes i own from stageline are both blush brushes but different shapes.
The angled blush brush59.5 is not as dense as i hoped . The handle and bristles are perfect but since its not dense enough,it doesnt pick blush accurately . But the size is perfect to pick powder from the velvet blush palette.Now my fav is 59.6,Its perfect to pack on any blush and works amazingly with highlighters.
