It was m first experience shopping from MAC addict ,Neon & My favorite brands and i couldn't be more happier . These ladies are so friendly, understanding and they will do their best to make you a one happy satisfied customer. I love how shopping for international brands are now a click away just because of such wonderful facebook pages. and last, i saw these flip-flops at Junaid Jamshed outlet and the coral was screaming my name and i bought them . They were approx Rs 980/-(don't remember exactly but were less than Rs1000/-)

I am sure you all must’ve read or heard about platinum.pk . They offer you international brands like Asos, Forever21,Mango,KARDASHIAN KOLLECTION ,Dorothy Perkins,Aldo , and many more. I was given an opportunity to buy something from their website and give my honest reviews. I was little skeptical since I have heard so many mixed opinions on the quality of their products.

Online shopping has become so convenient these days. I remember exactly how there were zero Facebook pages, or online sites when I started blogging but now Online shopping has become so popular. Do you ever wonder why there are so many websites or fb pages ? Well I was always into online shopping because you can do it home while cooking, or during lunch break (if you work) or during class breaks and options are endless. I see new Pakistani websites or pages popping up every other day. It’s a good thing, and bad (for your pocket of course).

The website takes some time to load but once you start browsing, you kind of want everything. I had made up my mind before I ordered that I want a clutch. I already have too many handbags. After going through their collection of clutches I went ahead and ordered a beautiful pastel pinkforever21 envelope clutch (Rs 2800/-). The ordering procedure is rather similar with any other site and quick. I chose cash on delivery option, later that day I got a conformation call and two days later I had parcel in my hands. Usually COD takes such a long time and it sucks waiting for your order for days . My order was packaged safely in a big box .

Now let’s talk about the clutch itself. I have to say that it looks EXACTLY like the stock photos they had on the website. The color, the metal hardware, the inside of the clutch, exactly same. The quality is great. It doesn’t feel cheap and I have been using it .The stitching is still intact (unlike the bags you buy from Chinese wholesale sites). It is quite spacious and big.

Overall I am pretty happy with my purchase. I have read reviews of some fellow bloggers that they weren't happy with their bags and some complained about the authenticity and quality of the stuff. I respect their opinion and what I think that platinum.pk has mix of original and first copy hand bags and Its matter of luck that if you get the original piece. I just think that they should at least mention if the bag/clutch/wallet is original or not and the prices should be set according to that because no one wants to pay $$ for a replica.

Finally a BB cream with yellow undertone!! I am little late on reviewing this but

I have been wearing it a lot and recommending it to pretty much everyone. Lets find out what I think about Ponds White Beauty All-in-One BB+ Fairness Cream SPF 30 PA++ .

It has to be my favorite locally available BB cream hands down. Ponds BB cream has been in market for quite sometime and there were some really tempting reviews by Indian bloggers, when I spotted this cute white and pink tube at my local beauty shop, I didn't hesitate for a minute and bought it . It comes in a slim squeeze tube with a nozzle. You can control the amount you need easily.The texture is thicker , and its best suited for girls with yellow undertones. The Ponds BB cream comes in one shade and its supposed to adjust according to anyone's skin tone but i personally feel it maybe little too light for dusky beauties. It has a semi matte finish.It will suit any one with dry to combination skin . Since it has semi matte finish and if you have dry skin, i recommend using a moisturizer prior to application. The product gives sheer coverage, and its my go to product when i am heading out in hurry and i need a even toned face. I just apply it my fingers, apply a little blush, kajal and a lipstick and i am done. I need to blot few times during day. It comes with another benefit of SPF 30+ PA++, So you dont need to apply sunscreen seperatly.

Bottomline: I LOVE it. It is by far my favorite BB cream ,If you thought garnier BB cream was too oily for you and that shades were bit off ,then i cant insist you enough to try this.The shade is just perfect for desi skin tones. The semi matte finish works great for girls with combination skin. It comes with added bonus of spf 30 and PA++ protection. The tube is slim and travel friendly, you can throw it in your makeup bag for quick touch ups. A perfect face product when you are on the go or in hurry but it does need some blotting /powdering during the day. Overall a winner for me .

e.l.f. Essential/Professional Total Face Brush

E.L.F is famous for its easy on pocket prices for makeup products/accessories. One of my HG brush for applying liquid foundation is ELF flat top brush (powder brush) from their $3 brush range. I never found the basic white packaging of elf essential $1 line attracted enough to draw my attention . But recently I have had a chance to use e.l.f. Essential/Professional Total Face Brush. Lets find out what I have to say about it J

e.l.f. Essential/Professional Total Face Brush Soft, caressing bristles allow for soothing application of facial and bronzing powders. The Total Face Brush features full, slightly tapered bristles to contour the face and help build gorgeous coverage as needed. Great for quick full-face touchups!

Like all e.l.f. makeup products , e.l.f. professional makeup brushes are vegan and cruelty free. E.L.F cosmetics claims that this brush has caressing bristles !!? , but my experience was so different. The bristles are scratchy and felt so uncomfortable when i started using the brush. I have been using it for almost a month and washed it 2-3 times , they softened a bit but still no where as soft as i usually like my makeup brushes. The brush has tapered bristles, and picks up product easily .If it was little bit more dense i would have like it better,The

brush is big enough to use all over face to dust finishing powder or you can use with bronzer.

e.l.f. Essential/Professional Total Face Brush has nice shape and works well if we forget about the scratchy bristles. It picks up powder nicely and dries pretty fast. The brush can build powder coverage to med-full depending upon your application and you can use it for bronzers all over face during summers.

If i consider the price in American dollars then this brush is a steal for those who are just starting with makeup as this brush gets the job done but honestly there are much better option ,lets say elf studio range is exceptionally good and RT brushes are little pricier but they are my absolute favorite.The essential brush line is not all bad, their shadow brushes are one of best sellers and i love using it.

If you want to try this , I will recommend wait for elf sales/promotions and get it when it elf gives out special offers like Pick 10 free essential brushes + get a $5 gift card, with a at least $25 purchase or Google the latest deals for elf cosmetics. You know what makes me happy!? Flawless nail polish application at first attempt with no streaks, no chips or not going everywhere. Its those sort of shade which makes you happy just by looking at your nails. Its more on the warmer side. The brush makes application super easy. You can get away with one coat but i prefer two.

Beauty UK Posh Pout comes in a vibrant twist up chubby crayon with a transparent lid which shows the shade inside. but I am not a fan of transparent lid , because at times the lipstick gets smeared onto the clear plastic lid while opening .The mechanism is same, you twist up and apply to the lips.The size is perfect to throw into your makeup bag for easy touchups.

The shade I own is Power to the purple , which is nowhere near purple but in fact a deep sheer pink with slight shimmer to it.The finish is glossy ,and after 30 mins or so becomes more satin .It applies smoothly and you don't need to go over and over again to get the color. The posh pout has a scent, Its not entirely minty and its really faint But its still there. Beauty UK Posh Pout “Power to the Purple” has a smooth, moisturizing texture, with a hint of color.They stay on lips for almost 1.5 hours and then fading into slight stain which washes away with eating or coffee/tea. These are pretty damn moisturizing so you can use these as alternative to lipbalms .

When I looked at the mirror after the first time I applied this blush with a RT blush brush, I was like “Whoa Whoa ! Whoa!!! Take it easy Rupaul!” . But since then i couldnt stop using it and since last few weeks i had to attend some desi weddings and this was my go to blush.

Pomegranate by luscious cosmetics is an insanely pigmented blush and for a beautiful pop of color to your cheeks apply it sparingly with the lighter blush brushes like the one I use is by Coastal scents C427 tapered duo fiber brush but small stippling brushes/ skunk brushes will work equally better with it. Pomegranate has a soft and satiny texture , which blends beautifully and doesn’t require a lot of effort. Once blended into the skin, it looks more pinkish tones berry rather than scary looking deep berry as it looks in the pan. The sheen blends out so beautifully , and gives a gorgeous glow.

It comes in a round pot with transparent lid. The doesnt include the brush and honestly who used those tiny brushes anyways. It is small and very travel friendly. Luscious cosmetics is a Pakistani brand , and recently they have been impressing everyone with their cute mascara packaging , mind blowing makeup collections with one of the top Pakistani makeup artists . This is my frist ever luscious blush but trust me when i say this, this wont be the last one.

My favorite way of wearing this blush on day times is is with lots of mascara , fresh dewy skin (Ponds BB cream) and my favorite Revlon Color Burst Matte Balm in sultry .This works beautifully with smokey eyes , neutral n**e lips and hint of color on the cheeks for night time . The staying power is exceptionally good. It lasts more than 6-8 hours on me in the Pakistani summers.

This is a perfect shade for medium to dusky skin tones ,but my fair skinned lovelies can also give it a try but with a very light hand.It has excellent staying power and with the price tag they offer , who would say NO !? .

I am obsessed with chubby lip stains/ lip crayon esp. Tarte or Revlon’s because of their fresh minty sensation. But it didn’t stop me from trying all the others. I grabbed Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon Peach on the Beach from beautyarena.pk as soon as they were launched. I was so tempted to get these for two reasons

After looking at online reviews and swatches I went for shade Peach on the Beach .

Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon Peach on the Beach- is a soft pinkish peach on my pigmented lips.

The packaging is just like Revlon or any chubby lip product, with twist-able end and outer packaging matches the shade inside. Now on to the product itself, It as spf 15 which is good. But I feel that claims like this being waterproof or staying power of up to 10 hours are bit too much. The finish is glossy and it hardly stays on my lips for 3-4 hours. I feel with this you need to prep your lips in advance like exfoliate, because it can apply unevenly or accentuate if you have fine lines or chapped lips. But it is quite moisturizing so you won’t need a lipbalm . The texture is balmy , which is smooth, light and soft ,it gives a sheer amount of color but of course you can build the shade. Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon Peach on the Beach is such a pretty summer-ish shade , which will look beautiful equally on anyone . I am nc35 and I have been wearing it a lot for my everyday look. But if you have a duskier complexion, I will suggest you try it before since it may wash you out.

Overall- Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon Peach on the Beach is a beautiful everyday kind of peachy pink shade, which screams summer/spring to me. It is travel friendly and gives sheer but buildable coverage. The formula quite moisturizing so you won’t need a lipbalm but I feel with this you need to prep your lips in advance like exfoliate, because it can apply unevenly or accentuate if you have fine lines or chapped lips.

Hello my sunshine! Can you believe it’s already June, 2014 is flying and so far this year has been amazing and I got to try new makeup products but my main focus is on using the products I already have because it hurts real bad when something barely used expires or worse your butter fingers manage to shatter not one but 2 of beloved blushes(I am looking at my Tarte exposed and wet n wild blush).

So my aim for coming months was to dig into existing makeup stash and I am here today with some of products I rediscovered and some new bits I used more than any others in last week or ten days. And in next week I will review products shown below .

My go to look was mostly wear either Bourjois healthy mix or Korres tinited moisturser , apply loads of L’Oreal volume million lashes mascara , apply essence Miami roller girl blush , and finish off with Revlon color burst balm 210 unapologetic

Let’s talk about Revlon color burst balm, have you tried these? If not then you are really missing out something. They are creamy, feels minty and so pigmented. I can’t get enough of these. I am obsessed with Revlon color burst balm 210 unapologetic .Its a bright almost neon coral with pink undertone. It screams summer to me. When I wasn’t wearing Revlon unapologetic, I was wearing Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipsticks #105. It is mid tone neutral brown, which is a MLLB shade on me. It has a slight fruity scent and have medium coverage color. The finish is creamy and matte but with bit of sheen which can be controlled with a light blot.

After such a long time rediscovered Bourjois Healthy mix foundation, I loved it then and I remember why ? It has a semi-matte dewy finish. It makes skin feel radiant, supple and soft but it has tendency to get a bit shiny/oily on combination and/or oily skin.When i am in hurry and i needed a fool proof face makeup, i used KorresWatermelon Lightweight Tinted Moisturiser is is very light , and it spreads easily and evenly ,leaving a dewy finish.The Coverage is of course sheer but i wont call it too sheer. It did cover my small imperfections.

L’Oreal volume million lashes mascara in black was a gift, I love the beautiful flashy gold packaging and I can say , I didn’t like it when I started using it but it sort grew on me, It gives my barely there lashes , bit of volume ,curl and makes them appear naturally thick, If used with an eyelash curler, the pairing could result in beautiful looking lashes, One con though , if you aren’t careful , it can clump the lashes. Essence Miami roller girl blush – dates on the skates is one of the pretty looking blush I own. The beautiful ombre going on is hard to miss and it sold out in a jiffy when it was launched on just4girls.pk and in stores. But it is now available at just4girls.pk in a different packaging so I insist you to grab it before its gone. The blush is LOVE, the shade are gradient from orange, peach coral and pink. You can wear them on their own or mix them all together to get a oft coral shade which I believe complements desi skin tones. For nails I pretty much wore Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in Pacific blue. It’s a vibrant periwinkle blue with crème formula. The color is beautiful and the formula is effortless. Real technique blush brush is one hell of a blush brush, its pink, its soft and its a perfect size for my face. It doesnt shed, dries quickly and looks pretty :D Rimmel London Exaggerate Liquid Eye Liner - waterproof is intense black and real does last long, The applicator is so easy to use and create beautiful winged eyeliner. This eyeliner deserve a review on its own , so stay tuned.

1-Mix honey with some lemon juice. Apply the paste evenly on face, neck and back. Leave it on for at least 5-10 minutes. This also acts as natural skin bleach and controls oil production to some extent.

excellent skin healing properties.

L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara '(PKR 2000)is one of products which made it to my weekly favorites.It took me sometime to fall in love with the mascara but Boy ! i am 60% sure that it can be my HG mascara #2, first one being Bourjous volume clubbing mascara.

The Millionizer Brush has a multitude of bristles which separate lashes for a fanned-out effect. The elastomer applicator is ultra flexible with both long and short bristles to coat lashes. The Excess Wiper removes excess mascara: no overload, no clumps. It leaves the brush coated with just the right amount of formula to achieve a volumized appearance with no overload and no clumps.

If you are like me, then probably packaging was the first thing you will notice.It comes in a flashy gold and black tube. I have thin sparse lashes, the brush works great,The excess wiper allows it picks up right amount of product and manages to separate them nicely.The bristles are short and made of plastic and coats lashes well.What i love about this mascara is the when i am wearing it , it looks so natural. My go to look is, for face is use bourjois healthy mix foundation,I curl my lashes,Apply loads of L’Oreal volume million lashes mascara , apply essence Miami roller girl blush , and finish off with Revlon color burst balm 210 unapologetic , and i am good to go.It gives my barely there lashes , bit of volume ,curl and makes them appear naturally thick, If used with an eyelash curler, the pairing could result in beautiful looking lashes, One con though , if you aren’t careful , it can clump the lashes.

The shade is black, REAL black, you can guess from the photos that it manages to make my lashes stand out. It feels so light weight, doesnt weigh down the lashes at all and it isnt waterproof but manages to last more than 8 hours on me in this heat.The removal is pretty easy, i use bioderma makeup remover but any eyemakeup remover will get the job done.Only con i could find is that it is ridiculously expensive.

I bought this lipstick almost 6 months ago from Alfatah store,dha Lahore . I was looking for a matte everyday color, I love Rimmel lipstick for variety of shades and finishes and when I saw this shade #105, I knew that was it. It is a safe shade which you know you can wear without worrying and if you don’t like bold lips. This is a work friendly everyday shade.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipsticks #105. It is mid tone neutral brown, which is a MLLB shade on me. This shade will look faltering on most of skin tones.

It has a slight fruity (almost perfume-y) scent. I am not very fond of the scent, its sort of perfume-y . I like my lipsticks to smell minty or like vanilla. But the scent vanishes after couple of minutes. .This is not your conventional matte lipstick, It says matte but more of forgiving kind of matte lipstick. It doesn’t dry out lips, or accentuate fine line .The formula of this lipstick is nice and creamy and provides medium coverage color. The finish is creamy and matte but with bit of sheen which can be controlled with a light blot. I love the matte red packaging of Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipsticks.

Overall: I wish I could this lipstick a full 5 stars but no matter how much I love the gorgeous everyday shade of #105.I am in absolutely in love this shade but how i wish the formula was bit better. I don’t like how grainy lipstick bullet looks or feels on lips on application.I have sometimes dry lips and when in hurry don’t have time to prep them, this is perfect as its creamy ,forgiving matte formula has no shimmer and looks comfortable on my medium tan skin tone. Its going to be review on MAC Dollymix Sheertone Shimmer Blush with swatches.

I think mac sheertone shimmer blush in dolly mix is my soul mate & we were destined to meet .How you ask ? Its I saw Dollymix few years back at a store and fell in love with the bright candy color. But never bought it since i couldnt swatch it . Two years ago when i was looking at MAC blushes at Alfatah Dha , and i pointed at a blush in display , asking sales man to show me that blush which so pretty , he got it for me and i was so surprised to see it was same MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Dolly Mix which got my eyes. It was God's sign of telling to buy since it was the only MAC blush which caught my eyes.

Mac describes Dollymix as pure candy pink blush(sheertone shimmer)

MAC sheertone shimmer blush Dollymix was my first ever MAC blush, I adore fuschia/pink /pikish berry toned blushes, i feel they complement my skintone better . The dollymix looks deep intense pink in pan , but the shade is pretty awsome . It is blue based bright pink with the slight hint of berry.

This is a very wearable blush for someone with medium-dark skin tones. I wouldn't call this blush insanely pigmented but it is very build able . So any skin tone can rock it. Since it is sheer you can wear it lightly for everyday or heavyhanded when going out , its totally upto you. It has shimmer, which is so subtle and fine , and it is hardly noticable.The shimmer blends out beautifully , giving a glowy appearance. I love it because when i feel i need some "omph" , i just apply some kajal , a mllb lipstick and swipe dollymix across my cheeks, This blush brings life to whole look.Its looks natural with a nice pop of color,like you just came back from a jog or workout kinda flush. I usually apply it on apples of my cheeks with my coastal scents blush brush . I have had this for almost two years and i am nowhere near a slight dip.

Overall I think Mac blush in dolly mix could flatter many skin tones depending how you prefer using your blush . For starters always be sure to use a light hand with this . And to be honest I feel it's a one of those MAC blushes that everyone needs in their blush collection .

Just like other lipsticks from this range , this too smells delicious. I love the vanilla scent. I love the shade asia , and it has been my go to lipstick for weeks. I also love the shade of this lipstick but unfortunately it has a very dry texture and tends to accentuate any dry patches or fine lines you have got.I will recommend moisturizing your lips prior to application for any matt lipsticks , but some shades can be forgiving compared to others.The shade is very vibrant in the tube but on my tan skin it looks pretty subtle , and on fair skin it looks SOOOOOOO beautiful a true bright coral red.
